When you made it w/ flying colors...

when something ends, another thing begins.
03.15.2008 officiallly ends my life as a student, well as an undergraduate of course, i wouldn't now when will i be able to take up my second degree or masters. It's a mixed emotion as what they always say, walking at the Fleur de Lis to pay my last respect, honor and gratitude to my alma mater is like leaving home, leaving a place you always felt secured, sheltered and comforted. That's how it is in St. Paul, and i know that's how it will always be. I know for myself how i was as a student, aside form the knowledge i gained from my mentors, the friendships i made, the organizations i joined, and the activities i became part of, it's the relationships i built with the people around the four corners of this institution that made me not just a level-headed individual but a person who understands that knowing Christ is not the end but being able to experience him is just the beginning, inviting him to your life is a progress and sharing him with others is a success. We are all unaware of where life would take us, we are all inexperienced but ready to face the battle, survive the jungle and conquer the "real world" as they say. And that's when i thought how real could that world be. As we find the path to our prospected careers, we will slowly realize that our decisions are no longer influenced by our school, but we should be ready to stand on our own, face a bigger world where our potentials will be developed and skills be maximized. After all, we are molded to be women of substance; women who has sense, purpose and reason.

With this i bear in mind that,
The Fleur de Lis is my Symbol,
Green and Gold is my Blood,
In Mind, In Heart and In Spririt,
Forever i'll be a Paulinian.
